Act It Out Mini

Early Learning Centre Information

Act It Out was created to offer a simple, fun, and meaningful play-based drama program that fits seamlessly into your early childhood setting. In a world where genuine connection is becoming harder to find, Act It Out gives young learners the tools to build confidence, creativity, and connection all through the joy of imaginative play.

We understand how stretched educators can be, which is why our program is designed to save time and reduce stress. There’s no need to plan or prep - our easy-to-follow format, clear instructions, and engaging activities do the work for you. Each class follows a familiar structure, striking the perfect balance between repetition and novelty to keep little minds focused and excited.

Themes are thoughtfully aligned with the calendar year, including Harmony Week, NAIDOC Week, Book Week, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and more. You’ll also explore fun, universal topics like dinosaurs, seasons, fairytales, and superheroes, each designed to spark imagination and connection.

Best of all, you don’t need external staff. Act It Out is designed to be led by your own team, giving you the flexibility to run the program when and how it suits your centre’s schedule.

We also know how important sensory play is for young children, so every subscription includes an Act It Out Resource Kit filled with playful props like emu eggs, memory boards, coins, balls, hats, keys, blankets, wands, and more!

At the heart of the program are the 5 C’s:
Confidence, Communication, Creativity, Connection, and Consent
These core values are embedded in every session. We believe in empowering young children with tools for body autonomy and advocacy, respecting their ability to learn, express, and grow.

The program is fully aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, supporting Belonging, Being, and Becoming, and includes video tutorials, guided voiceovers, original music, and written content to help your educators feel confident and supported every step of the way.

By delivering drama in a space where children already feel safe and secure, you're creating the ideal environment for even the shyest child to shine.

We also provide online training and ongoing support throughout the life of your subscription.

Act It Out acknowledges the Dharawal speaking people, who are the Traditional Custodians and owners of the land on which we work and play today. We pay our deepest respects and highest gratitude to the Elders, past and present, who have protected the lands and waterways and all life within since the time of the Dreaming, and to all Indigenous People who honour and keep the community and culture alive today. Always has been, always will be, Aboriginal land.
